GEO RESCHEDULED

The GEO conference & exhibition in Bahrain has been rescheduled for 4-7 October 2021, having been previously scheduled for 14-17 September 2020.

COVID-19 Update

We support the Bahrain government’s robust preventative measures against the COVID- 19 pandemic. This means the exhibition venue, the Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre, will be prioritised for the possible continuance of its current use as a medical and testing facility during September, an eventuality GEO supports and welcomes.

As a result, and with consultation with His Excellency the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, we have agreed to move GEO to October 2021.

Putting your Health & Safety at the Heart of Our Event

Our foremost priority remains to safeguard the health, safety and well-being of all participants. As restart and recovery efforts begin around the world, we’ll be working with our partners and suppliers over the coming months to deliver the most dynamic event in the 26-year history of GEO. We can anticipate fresh opportunities next year, and we look forward to serving you.

We have also consulted with key stakeholders and we believe that this new date provides a great opportunity to position the event at a time of year when the weather allows for us to continue to host field trips and the increased participation of the student faculty. It is also the intention to maintain GEO in the odd years thereafter.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this rescheduling may have caused and would like to thank you for your patience and support.

We wish to assure you that your participation is still valid for the new October 2021 dates, and we very much look forward to welcoming you then.
