Haima Supergroup, Qarn Mahatta Humaid

This 3-day trip takes in the Qarn Mahatta Humaid area in central Oman, Haushi-Huqf High in the eastern continental margin of Arabia. The field trip will visit the outcrops of the Cambrian to Ordovician Haima Supergroup that host the majority of the country’s gas and condensate tight resources at great depth in the sub-surface.
